Over the past 40 years of buying and selling antiques, I’ve come to associate with brands that represent craftsmanship, history, and enduring quality. Fenton glass, Blenko, Heisey, Weller, McCoy, Zanesville, Rookwood, and Tiffin are just the beginning. I also think of Lalique, Baccarat, Waterford, Wedgwood, and Meissen—brands whose pieces carry elegance, artistry, and generations of tradition. From vintage decanters to WPA-era paintings, from Fabergé-style eggs to rare pottery, these brands have shaped the way I see collecting: it’s about preserving the past and connecting with the people who made these objects. For me, antiques aren’t just things—they’re living history, and the brands behind them are the threads that tie it all together.
