Understanding the Word Satiated

Daily writing prompt
What are your biggest challenges?

I finally discovered why obesity is so high in the USA…
Most people don’t even know what the word “satiated” means.
(Some can’t even say it. It’s say-she-ated, not “sassy-ated,” Karen.)

Most of my life, hunger had only two settings:

1️⃣ “Yeah, I could eat.”
2️⃣ “If I move, I might rupture a seam.”

No one ever told me there was a magical middle zone called SATIATED — that peaceful place between starving and needing firefighters to cut me out of a booth at Chili’s.

Once I learned the word, everything changed.
My brain finally spoke up:

“Rich… you’re good.
You do not need the bonus pizza with your cheesesteak wit.”

(Wit onions… wit pride… wit zero self-control.)

Turns out vocabulary is the ultimate weight-loss program.
Forget diets — learn SAT WORDS.

So stay satiated, America…
and put down that bonus pizza before it starts calling you “Babe.” 😄
