Jesus is the reason our calendar begins — yet he was born before year 1 around 4 BC, lived through the calendar’s starting point, and died decades later.
How is that possible?
Answer: The calendar was created centuries after Jesus lived and miscalculated his birth by about 4–6 years. There is no year zero, and once the system spread worldwide, it was never corrected. If it had been accurate from the start, today’s year would be around 2030–2032, not 2026.

I believe wisdom comes not just from books, but from years of living, learning, and observing the world. My writing blends personal experience, practical advice, and reflections on life, work, and society. You’ll find stories that reach back to earlier decades, lessons I’ve learned in business and everyday living, and thoughts on how we can approach today’s challenges with perspective and resilience.
This blog is a place where I share insights, lessons, and stories that I hope will inspire, challenge, or simply give you something meaningful to think about.
