If I Could Have Dinner with Any Fictional Character, It Would Be Bruce Wayne

Daily writing prompt
If you could have dinner with any fictional character, who would it be?

For me, the answer is easy.

Bruce Wayne.

Not Batman—Bruce Wayne.

Sure, Batman is one of the greatest superheroes ever created, but it’s Bruce Wayne I’d want sitting across the dinner table.

Think about it. Here’s a guy who inherited wealth, but instead of wasting it, he built on it. He ran a global company, invested in technology, surrounded himself with brilliant people, and used his success to make a difference. That’s a conversation I’d love to have.

I’d ask him about business, leadership, investing, failure, and how he decides who to trust. I’d want to know what habits made him successful long before he put on the cape.

Then we’d get to the Batman side of the conversation.

Batman didn’t have superpowers. His greatest strength wasn’t his money—it was his discipline, preparation, and wisdom. He understood that life isn’t always fair, problems don’t solve themselves, and the best way to face fear is to prepare for it.

There’s a lesson in that for all of us.

Whether you’re building a business, raising a family, investing for retirement, or just trying to become a better person, success usually comes from showing up every day, thinking ahead, learning from your mistakes, and never giving up.

That’s Batman wisdom.

So if someone ever asks me who I’d have dinner with, I’ll skip the celebrities and athletes.

Give me Bruce Wayne.

I have a feeling I’d leave that dinner with a notebook full of ideas—and maybe a few gadgets, too.
