Looking back, I think my younger self would be pretty damn proud of how things turned out. I worked hard, took chances, made some mistakes, and learned a lot along the way. I walked away from the corporate world when I was 48, took a shot at doing my own thing, and never looked back.
But you know what? The thing I’m most proud of isn’t the career, the businesses, or the money. It’s raising three wonderful daughters who grew up to be successful, happy adults with beautiful families of their own. And now I get to watch my grandkids grow up.
I didn’t do everything right, that’s for sure. But I did a lot more right than wrong. And if that younger kid from Delco could see where I ended up today, I think he’d smile and say, “Not bad, buddy. Not bad at all.”something you’ve done that your past self would be proud of?
